Team Z7's Shane Breen Rides ‘Z7 Regal Don’ to the top of the Young Horses Championship (CSIYH1*)

The national anthem of the UAE was played to celebrate the victory of six-year-old horse ‘Z7 Regal Don’ and Irish rider, Shane Breen, at the end of the Sharjah Equestrian Club FEI Group VII young horses final 6 Y-old. The final was a two-round competition with 125cm jumps. 14 riders participated with their young 6-year old horses. Shane Breen with ‘Z7 Regal Don’ finished the second round in 57.81 seconds, with only one fault for exceeding the allocated time in the second round.


The Greek rider Dimitri Natsis, with horse ‘Cascall’ ranked second and finished the second round in 47.14 seconds, with four faults. In the third place was the American rider Devon Bessette with his horse ‘Intermezzo’ in 57.71 seconds and five faults, four in the first round and one in the second.

Swedish Rider Eckermann Wins the Two-star Championship (CSI2*)

The Swedish Rider, Henrik Von Eckermann, with his horse ‘Lorielle 2’ won the Longines CSI 2* Grand Prix which consisted of a single round of jumps 145cm high with a jump off. 40 qualified male and female riders competed in this class but Eckermann came in first place after completing the jump off with the best time (37.20 seconds). Second place went to Saudi rider, Abdullah AlSharbatly, who finished the jump off with ‘Woulon L’ in 38.54 seconds. From Ireland, David Simpson participated riding ‘Foudre F’ and finished the jump off in 39.53 seconds, winning third place.


Breen Participates with ‘Z Seven Canya Dance’ and Wins

The Irish rider, Trevor Breen, with ‘Z Seven Canya Dance’, won the CSI2* Sharjah Tourism Accumulator With joker, jumping obstacles 135cm high. 68 male and female riders participated, of which nine riders succeeded in collecting all 65 points. The best time was registered by Trevor Breen, who finished the point collection in 48.62 seconds. Second place went to Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al Qassimi who finished the round with ‘Saga De La Roque’ in 49.35 seconds. Third place went to young Emirati rider Ali Hamad Al Kirbi, who rode ‘Catch The Wind II’ and secured all points in 50.44 seconds.


Ali Hamad Al Kirbi Wins CSI2* Al Sakab Two phases competition

A two-star two-round competition was held with 135cm jumps sponsored by Al Sakab. 77 male and female riders participated in the competition, of whom 12 riders completed both rounds with no faults. Young Emirati rider, Ali Hamad Al Kirbi, who rode ‘Catch The Wind II’ finished the second round in 28.43 seconds. Second place went to Linda Heed with horse ‘Certina M’ who finishe in 29.91 seconds. Naser Khamis Ali Saeed won the third place with ‘Energy Al Baryia’ and finished the second round with a 0.7-second difference from the second place, registering 29.98 seconds.


UAE Riders win Group VII Titles for Young Riders (CSIOY)

A two-star two-round competition was held with 135cm jumps sponsored by Al Sakab. 77 male and female riders participated in the competition, of whom 12 riders completed both rounds with no faults. Young Emirati rider, Ali Hamad Al Kirbi, who rode ‘Catch The Wind II’ finished the second round in 28.43 seconds. Second place went to Linda Heed with horse ‘Certina M’ who finishe in 29.91 seconds. Naser Khamis Ali Saeed won the third place with ‘Energy Al Baryia’ and finished the second round with a 0.7-second difference from the second place, registering 29.98 seconds.


Saudi Rider Tamim AlAbdulkarim Wins the Titles Group VII Junior Riders (CSIOJ)

A two-star two-round competition was held with 135cm jumps sponsored by Al Sakab. 77 male and female riders participated in the competition, of whom 12 riders completed both rounds with no faults. Young Emirati rider, Ali Hamad Al Kirbi, who rode ‘Catch The Wind II’ finished the second round in 28.43 seconds. Second place went to Linda Heed with horse ‘Certina M’ who finishe in 29.91 seconds. Jordanian Rider Yousef Al-Bakri Wins Group VII Children’s Category Final (CSIOCH)

Jordanian Rider Yousef Khair Al-Bakri, with his horse ‘Amichora Z’ won the Children’s Category (CSIOCH) title and the first prize after completing all the qualifiers with no faults, reaching the final two-round competition with 110cm jumps. The competition, sponsored by Al Shira’aa Stables, was held on Friday morning in the covered arena. 14 riders participated from UAE, Jordan, Syria and Egypt. Five riders finished the two rounds with no faults but Al-Bakri came in first. Second place went to Haya Osama El Borai from Egypt with ‘Quapitola SR Z’, while the third place went to her fellow compatriot Ahmed Amr Mokhtar, with horse ‘Jiggy’.


...And Tina Lund Wins with ‘Celvita Z’

Tina Lund celebrated with horse ‘Celvita Z’ as the Danish national anthem played, after ranking first in the Sharjah Equestrian Club FEI Group VII Finals. The two-round final saw the participation of 13 rders with their young horses. Six riders reached the final with a zero-fault score but only three of them finished the final with no faults. Lund finished the second round with the best time (48.04 seconds) while Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi ranked second with horse ‘Hasina Bella MFS’ and finished the second round with a strongly competitive time of 48.20 seconds. The third place went to Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum and horse ‘Contessa De Beaufour’, who finished the second round in 49.62 seconds.
